An orange opaque seatbelt buckle cover designed to be childproof. It wraps around a vehicle seatbelt and is fastened with a buckle and hook & loop tape. A doctor's certificate is required for the use of this product. Two small stickers must be displayed on the rear of the vehicle to indicate that this product is being used.
This robotic arm wheelchair hoist delivers a manual wheelchair from the driver or side passenger door of a vehicle, into the boot, and gently closes the door behind. With another press, the wheelchair is returned to the driver's or passenger seat door when required. The hoist is stored behind the rear seats of the vehicle. There are two models to suit fixed frame or folding frame wheelchairs.
Absolute Mobility are located in Coffs Harbour. They are certified and licensed premises to offer the installation of automotive driving aids for people who are disabled, aged and learner drivers who live on the Mid North Coast.
Accessible Transit Specialists specialise in wheelchair access conversion on vehicles. They can convert any suitable vehicle to wheelchair access using ramps or automatic wheelchair lifts.
Accessible Transit Specialists custom make seating for a variety of vehicles. One feature can be Quick Release Legs where seats need to be regularly removed eg to make room for a wheelchair. Their seating is certified by the RTA.
Activan is a Chrysler Voyager van which has been adapted to accommodate a wheelchair user as a driver or passenger.
Two mobile, aluminium frame battery operated hoists with five interchangeable spreader bar yokes. One yoke is designed to lift and transfer persons to and from a car. Other yokes enable the Beaver to be used for general transfer applications. The hoists are folding and dismantle into four parts for transportation. Sizes suitable for domestic or healthcare facility use. Options are available.
Seat belt extensions are available for people for whom the standard sizes are insufficient. They fit most Australian cars made since 1997. Longer versions of standard seat belts may also be available.
